Edward enjoys caring for women on their pregnancy journey. He provides continuity of care and support women’s choices in pregnancy, labour and birth.
He holds general registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand.
Edward joined the staff of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Taranaki Base Hospital in 2013 as a Medical Officer and established a reputation as a caring, kind, knowledgeable and diligent member of the department.
His special interests are High-Risk Obstetrics and Multiple Pregnancies.
Edward is a certified colposcopist and maintains his knowledge and skills by participating in the recertification program for colposcopists. With a special interest in vulvovaginal disease and menopause, Edward is also proud to offer clinics in vulval disease and menopause at his Powderham Rooms.
Hi my name is Keryn, I am originally from Hamilton but have made Taranaki my home.
I love the sea and mountain; its a pretty special place. I’m also a mum to a grown adult daughter.
I have been a midwife for 11 years mainly working core (hospital) midwifery. Its always an honor working with women during pregnancy, labour and the postnatal period, helping women and her partner to make choices throughout the journey to becoming parents.
I look forward to walking alongside you and your family during this special time.
Born and raised in Taranaki, my husband and I have recently returned after 8 years away.
I have been a nurse for the past 10 years, in between raising four little boys.
I am a lover of the ocean, flowers, travel and interior design.
